You know what I love about Awards Season?


It's not seeing what everyone's wearing or who's walking with who down the red carpet. I love fashion, but I want to know about wearable fashion, and my "wearable" doesn't include gowns, designer or otherwise. Give me and award show where the celebs are rocking some killer jeans and I'd be all about what they're wearing!


It's certainly not hearing the long drawn out thank you to everyone I've ever known speeches.  I secretly listen to them in hopes of hearing someone go off the deep end and say "I'd like to thank myself! I worked my butt off to get here and I totally deserve this." Now that would be a speech worth hearing!


What I love most about award season is finding out which movies are the must see's so we can have movie night at home. Movie night is a regular thing at our house. We all have our favorite genres but we come together to watch them all. I admire the actors that can portray a moving character, the composers that put together the great film scores that that tie it all together, and the great directors that keep us on the edge of our seat while moving us to laughter and tears.
