The other day I was having a conversation with friends about restrooms, and antibacterial dispensers when one friend declared, "I don't do that anti-bacterial stuff."
I was prepared for a deep discussion about how anti-bacterial things are destroying our natural immune response, etc..., when I got this.
She said, "I look at it like this; you put the anti-bacterial in your hands, rub them together, and then what? You're left with a bunch of dead germs on your hands!"
Pfthahaha! It's so true! Haha!
I used hand sanitizers like crazy for awhile. My son recently had the Entrovirus and his doctor said it helps to kill nothing. The germs still transfer. He said to always use soap and water numerous times daily and just completely take out the sanitizers.
ReplyDeleteOh, great, now we have something else to worry about LOL...True ha. Let's say the santizer kills the germs as we rub together...There, now I feel better :-)
ReplyDeleteI am going to wipe them on my husband's sleeve from now on. Ick.
ReplyDeleteI use hand sanitizer like crazy especially when there are no sinks available. I never gave it a thought.
ReplyDeleteWow just when I thought I was doing the right thing by cleaning this way when a sink was unavailable.
ReplyDeleteYes I have thought about this before, pretty gross when you think about it.
ReplyDeleteI rarely use hand sanitizers. I prefer to wash with good old soap and water.
ReplyDeleteHum, good question. I do use them, but generally when soap isn't available. Then I just rinse. I don't like the feel of it on my hand nor the smell.
ReplyDeleteI use hand sanitizer but I never thought about disposing of the dead germs.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about that. That's pretty hilarious actually!
ReplyDeleteWow, something to think about. That never dawned on me.
ReplyDeletehahaha I never thought of it like that! Interesting way of thinking!
ReplyDeleteWe've never used them. Soap and water for us here :)
ReplyDeleteOK I just laughed out loud at that. It's why I still believe in soap and water. I only use hand sanitizer when I'm out.
ReplyDeleteMy doc says good old soap and water is best too!
ReplyDeleteAHAHAHAHA! How funny! I try to wash my hands when I can, but use the sanitizer when I can't!
ReplyDeleteI hate hand sanitizer. But I love that , where do they go?
ReplyDeleteEwww! Never thought of that! That's gross! I'll stick to the soap and water from now on :)
ReplyDeleteEwww!
ReplyDeleteI never even thought about "where the germs go" after I have killed them with hand sanitizers. I prefer to wash them down the drain but when your out and about hand sanitizers are much easier.
