"We Love Disney" Music Review

I love Disney and, of course, I love music, so I was so excited to get to hear the new "We Love Disney" album. This album is a really cool collection of some of our favorite Disney songs performed by some of the hottest artists in music.

The album opens with Ne-Yo's great version of "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin. It honors the original, but has NeYo's little twist on it. One of my favorite songs on this album is "The Rainbow Connection" performed by Gwen Stefani. I've always loved the song, and it's great to hear Stefani's version of it. Mary Poppins is one of my favorite movies, so I cringe when I think of anyone else trying to perform the songs, but I was very pleased to hear Kacey Musgraves sing "A Spoonful of Sugar". It has a little Country twang to it, but it's a fun version.

There isn't really a song that I didn't like because the songs are so memorable from our favorite Disney movies, and such great artists are performing them and the changes are only minor. However, I do have to say that nothing beats the originals, but if you like a variety of music styles and are a Disney fan, you may want to add this one to your collection.

The album is available now on iTunes and Amazon and is also available as a special boxed disc version.
