Aloha Friday, Roaring 20's

I'm in a great mood this morning. I was already dancing on the car ride to work.
Are you gonna go my way? (Lenny Kravitz)

Tomorrow, I'm attending a murder mystery party set in 1928. I play a cocktail waitress, so today, I'll be putting finishing touches on my costume including a fabulous head piece and a bob wig, and of course some long beads. The host is giving prizes to best dressed, most dramatic, and, of course, the person who solves the mystery. It should be a great time!

My question for the day:

What's your favorite time period?

Make sure to go check out the other Aloha Friday posts at An Island Life.

  1. I don't know that I have one - though I do like my mom's clothes from the 70's

  2. Every time I think I have a favorite, another era pops in my head and I like it anything from 1400s -about 1960 is ok with me! LOL

The Mystery party sounds like a BLAST!

  3. The 70's were the best. The music rocked and people were less money/status oriented.

    Have a great day!

  4. I love murder mystery parties! :)

I've always thought I was born in the wrong era - I love reading about the early 1800's and would love to step back in time and experience the simplicity of life back then. ;)

    Aloha: Where Do You Blog?

  5. Sounds very interesting. I hope you enjoy your party!

My favorite time as a black woman is now. I don't want to go back to times like my people have had to suffer through.

  6. I don't know that I have one, I'll have to think about it, and get back to you.

The Mystery party sounds like so much fun. Good luck on solving the mystery!

  7. That party sounds like a blast!
I'd have to agree with some of the other folks an say I like the 70s. I have very found memories of that time!
