A Bad Romance

Mama's Losin' It

My uncle first introduced us, when I was young. We spent time together watching the Red Sox play, sitting in my uncle's big comfy chair. We were always together. It was such a special time.

Then my Mom moved me away to Florida. With the great distance between us, I soon forgot our time together. I watched sports with others. I partied with others. I grew up with others. I had moved on.

Until one day, we were reunited... reunited and it feels so good (Peaches and Herb)

When we got back together, I remembered all our special moments together. Of course, we both had changed a bit, but that was okay. Deep down we were still the same and the flame was rekindled.

Some have tried to tear us apart saying it's not good for me. But I don't listen. No matter what anyone says I know this is a love that will never die.

Sour Cream and Onion Chips, I love you! And, even if my family says to give you up because you make my breath stinky, I don't care because you are just too dang good! I want your ugly, I want your disease I want your love love love love I want your love (Lady GaGa)

This was written from Mama Kat's prompt: A Love Story

  1. I used to have a love affair with Sour Cream and Onion chips, too. Now I'm more of a BBQ chip kind of gal.
