I Don't Have Time to Learn

My husband is great at taking care of the house, and getting things done that I've put off, but his beliefs are a little different than mine. for Example:

He believes you get your chores done first and then you've got all day to go online or play Xbox, watch movies, etc... I think going online is Waaaay more important than putting clothes away! Those clothes will still be there tomorrow, but if I miss a tweet today, it could be gone for good!

He also thinks cleaning should be done everyday! What?! Why the heck would anyone want to clean everyday?! Are we on some HGTV reality show where you win a prize for keeping the cleanest house?! No?! Well then, straighten up a little and sit down and enjoy yourself. I promise the cleaning police won't stop by today.

I'm sure there's something I can learn from him in his methods, but really I've got giveaways to enter, twitter parties to attend, and music to listen to, I just don't have time. I'll learn later.

I know it's up for me if you steal my sunshine (Len)

  4. I'm with you! But yesterday I paid for the clean clothes I left laying on the top of my dresser. I got to work and realized the cat had decided my clean clothes made a nice bed. I had cat hair all over my shirt! I put my clothes away as soon as I got home last night. ;)

  5. I really wish he'd pass that along to my boyfriend. I'm a lot more like you, where I'm fine putting off the housework. Boyfriend just doesn't really do it at all.

  7. My husband thinks the same way! It drives him crazy that I'm online a lot, but whatever, I enjoy this much more. If he wants to clean, he can be my guest.
