Aloha Friday, Borrowing from Children

Happy Aloha Friday! I hope it's been a great week for you and I hope you will have an even better weekend!

I was having a conversation with a group of ladies this week about raising children on a budget, and trying to make ends meet. One of the topics of discussion was how there were times when we had to borrow from our children, but we used it to teach about interest, and always paid back more than we borrowed. Personally, I think I always paid back more, not to teach about interest, but to try to ease my own guilt about having to borrow from my child in the first place.

So the question of the week:

Have you ever borrowed from a child's piggy bank?

Answer in a comment, and then head to An Island Life for more Aloha Friday fun. Then, kick back, relax, and enjoy your weekend!

  1. I've never borrowed from the kids' piggy banks...but they never have any money in them, because they spend it (or lose it) as soon as they get it... ;)

  3. Yes we do borrow from their account. I wish we didn't have to, but we put a good amt of money in there and sometimes it helps with the mortgage.

But we do pay back and extra too.

    Very good question!

    Aloha
