Festive Mini Cookie Cups Are Easy Holiday Treats #BettyCrockerBakeCenter

Baking season is here. It's time for cookie exchanges, family gatherings, and giving the gift of sweets. Because I like to bake so much, I was more than happy to share the deals that you can find on Betty Crocker baking at your nearest Publix. To participate, I was sent products to bake with, but all opinions expressed are my own.

I love baking from scratch, but sometimes I need to bake up something quick and Betty Crocker is great for that. If you're looking for a new fun recipe to bake this holiday season, Betty Crocker has made it really easy for you with the Betty Crocker Bake Center. It has 4 exclusive recipes, the Betty Crocker products you need to make them, and coupons to help you save money. I found it at my local Publix in the Dairy section.

I chose to make the Festive Mini Cookie Cups. They were very easy to make, and even with my almost non-existent decorating skills, they still came out looking cute.

To make these, you just follow the instructions on the Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix. Then you roll the dough into balls. The recipe said it makes 36 mini cookie, cups, but my mini muffin pan only holds 24 so I made mine slightly bigger and they still came out great.

After you roll them into balls, you roll them in sprinkles. I used the Betty Crocker Holly Berry wreath sprinkles. You then put them in your mini-muffin cups.

Place in the oven at 375 for 12-15 minutes, until they are light brown at the edge.

Mine took 13 minutes.

After there done you will need to let them cool for a couple minutes before gently placing a Hershey's Kiss in the center of each one.

I pushed down a little too hard on the first one and ended up with a smooshed chocolate Kiss, so gentle is definitely key.

While the cookie cups were baking, I went ahead and unwrapped each Kiss, and yeah I might have eaten a couple. I had to make sure they were good, right?!

You have to let them cool for about 30 minutes before you try to pull the cups out of the pan. I set the timer and went for a walk to burn some calories off before eating these. They were so good! Hubby's response was "oh, my these are mmmmm,  really bad", translation: "These are dangerously good because we are trying to eat healthier and you're gonna need to make them again."

They are very rich, and very yummy, so we both agreed that we would limit how many we eat, but as long as it's in moderation the calories are well worth it. I will make them again, but I will make sure to do it on a day when I can take it to work, or when the kids are home to help us eat them all. The good thing is they store well in Ziploc containers, and they tasted just as good the next day.

The recipe for these Festive Cookie Cups is below if you want to bake some up. Just don't forget to print out coupons, and hurry to get the best deals at Publix.
