Monday Minute: Singing in The Shower

It's time for Monday Minute, but first, in case you missed it: This week only: Link up with your pet adoption stories to this blog hop and for each link up, Iams will donate 100 bowls of food to homeless animals.

(1) Have you ever been hospitalized? yes, age 6 & 7: bladder surgery,(yet, on my last trip to the urologist he said I was too young to be there, yep got a new doctor) age 11 tonsils and adenoids removed (though I still snore so that was useless) of course, and of course for the births of my daughters at age 18 and 20 (finally a good reason to be in the hospital!) ♪c'mon get down with the sickness♪ (disturbed)

(2) What’s the last bit of good news you received? Just yesterday, #1 got her first college acceptance letter!  ♪I'm walking on Sunshine, yeah♪ (Katrina & The Waves)

(3) Who was your favorite teacher? My public speaking teacher, because he was so encouraging and supportive when I was pregnant. While others judged me, said my marriage would never work,  (yeah, big middle finger to those teachers!) and wanted me to go to an alternative school, he believed in me.
♪If you ever did believe for my sake♪ (Stevie Nicks)

(4) Do you sing in the shower? Of course! but I try not to do it when I'm rinsing off my face because it sounds like this ♪Well, your nobody called to...glubglubglub *cough cough* she hung *cough* when I asked her name♪ (5) Describe the happiest day of your life. It's impossible to pick just one, childhood days with my Grandparents, trips to Disney and the Beach, The rolling Stones Concert, the day I got married, the days my girls were born, romantic vacations spent with my Bear, and family vacations with my girls. So many days that, in the moment, may not have seemed perfectly happy, but in memories they are absolutely perfect, and I would have them no other way!  It's not days that make up a life, but the moments in which you live ♪From this moment, life has begun♪ (Shania Twain)

  2. Glad you proved those teachers wrong. I hate when people are pricks like that. I had two middle school teachers that felt it was a waste of time for me to go to an advanced program for high school because I wasn't "too bright" well I went and visited my middle school right after I graduated from college and I made sure to let them know that I graduated from a prestigious private college and had a job lol.

Congrats to your daughter that is awesome!!
