That's exactly how I felt when I tried Food Should Taste Good's Harvest Pumpkin Tortilla Chips. They are so good, with a light touch of cinnamon and nutmeg but, I just knew it would be perfect with chocolate chip cookie dough dip. So, I made some!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough dip with Harvest Pumpkin Tortilla Chip |
I was so right! The perfect combination of sweet and salty! It's like they were made for each other! (yes, there's some love songs dancing around in my head right now)
The chocolate cookie dough dip is also good with graham crackers and apples. And, because I had some of FSTG's Sweet Potato Chips in their special pink bags for Breast Cancer awareness, I tried that and it was good, too. Heck, this dip is even good straight from the spoon! But, really, you have to try it with the Pumpkin Chips...Seriously, it's yummy!
Here's the recipe for the dip:
1 8oz package cream cheese softened
1 stick butter (1/2 cup) softened
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup powder sugar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 cup toffee bits
1 cup milk chocolate chips
In large bowl, cream together cream cheese and butter, stir in sugars, flour, and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Mix in toffee bits and chocolate chips. Serve chilled.
I mentioned Food Should Taste Good and their special pink bags of chips. I have to say that I love their products, and had already tweeted about how great their pumpkin chips were with the cookie dough dip when I received a surprise package from them with 2 bags of chips. This year, they are donating $100,000 to help find a cure for breast cancer. That's just one more reason to love them! disclosure: Food Should Taste Good provided me with 2 bags of chips but I was under no obligation to post about it. All opinions expressed are my own.
This is making my mouth water! That dip looks amazing!
